Multnomah Falls

The drive is pleasant, the view is amazing and the cool breeze is very refreshing on a warm summer day.  Probably one of the most photographed waterfalls in the state, Multnomah Falls does not disappoint.  It is only a 30 mile drive east of Portland and well worth the journey.

I shot some HDR and had a great time doing it.  The most difficult part of shooting at Multnomah is finding an adequate spot.  Since this place does not slow down with visitors and tourists it is challenging to find the right corner to set up without having shadows and people getting in the way.  Also, as is often the case, whenever people see professional-grade equipment they often ask if you can take their photo.

Take the time to walk up to the bridge and enjoy the spray while visiting, you will be glad you did.
